Ade AdewoluWarri is an oil city, located in Delta State, the southern region of Nigeria. Vehicular transportation routes in the city have been highly compromised by illegal on-street parking and this has rendered accesses to places of business very difficult. Through interviews and the distribution of questionnaires to citizens situated in the problem area, it was deduced that the cause of vehicular congestion was due to illegal on-street parking and the result from the questionnaires indicated that an appropriate solution would be the implements of a multi-story car park facility. In order to aid the design of an adequate and functional Multi-story parking facility, a census of vehicles parked along major access roads per hour during weekdays was recorded and the study of the Multi-story car park at Ikoyi, Nigeria and the Murtala Mohammed Domestic Airport Multi-Story car park were carried out. The study examined four objectives which are effect of time pressure on employee productivity, effect of workload on employee innovation, relationship between role ambiguity and employee job quality and relationship between role conflict and employee time management. Descriptive research design was adopted for the study while the study area covers nine branches of Wema bank in Ogun state, Nigeria. The study made use of primary data which was collected through instruments of questionnaire. The population of the study consists of all staff members in Wema bank branches in Ogun state. Random sampling techniques was employed for the purpose of this study. The sample size for the study was 154 employees from nine branches of Wema bank in Ogun state. The study employed both descriptive and inferential statistics to analyze the data collected. Survey design was employed in the study through the administration of questionnaire, four hundred and fifty questionnaires were administered to the staff of the selected companies which while four hundred and twenty-three questionnaire was fully completed and returned, frequency table and percentages was employed in analyzing the respondent's response while regression statistical analysis was employed in testing the research hypothesis. Result of the findings, revealed that there is significant influence consultative participation on employee performance, there is significant impact of collective bargaining on employee performance and three significant relationship effect of joint decision making employee performance based on the findings the study recommend among others that management should strive to become a role models to their subordinates; inspire them by providing meaning and challenge to work; stimulate their efforts to become innovative and creative and pay attention to each individual needs for achievement and growth.Item Metadata only Employee Engagement and Retention in Selected Food and Beverage Industries in Ado-Odo local Government Area, Ogun State(Bells University of technology, Ota, 2020-09-10) IHUNYERE, Uchenna Promise; Dr. Bello B. A.The study examined employee engagement and retention in selected food and beverage industries in Ado-Odo Ota LGA, Ogun state. The specific objectives are to; determine the effect of loyalty on employee retention in the food and beverage industry in Ado-Odo Ota, determine the influence of commitment on employe retention in the food and beverage industry in Ado-Odo Ota and to ascertain the influence of trust on employee retention in the food and beverage industry in Ado-Odo Ota. This study adopted a survey research design; data were collected through the use of questionnaire. The total population of the study was 1355 comprising of the staff of De-United foods industries Limited. the members of staff were randomly selected from the production, Marketing/sales, accounting/finance and Administration departments. The sample size of 309 was determined using the Tari Yamane's formula and further stratified using Boyle's formula. The findings indicate that the coefficient of the ordinal regression on loyalty was (1.4443) and the p value was .000. This means that loyalty is positively signed and statistically significant at 55 level of significance. A.This study investigated the knowledge management on organizational performance in selected money deposit banks in the three senatorial districts in Lagos, Nigeria. The selected money deposit banks included Access bank, Diamond bank, Guaranty Trust bank and Zenith bank. The specific objectives of the study were to examine the extent to which knowledge creation, knowledge sharing, knowledge application and knowledge protection influenced organizational performance in the selected money deposit bank in Lagos state, Nigeria. Also, the research question and hypotheses were raised to guide the study. Organizational performance was investigated in the area of custom er satisfaction, market share expansion and new product development. The study made use of primary and secondary source of data. A well- structured research questionnaire was used as an instrument to gather information from the respondents as well as the various banks annual report for a period of three years (2017-2019) which were analyzed to determine the extent of the various banks, market share expansion, Purposive and simple random sampling techniques were used to collect information from 263 respondents comprising 113 bank staff and 150 customers of the banks. Both descriptive and inferential statistical designs were applied. Regression analysis and analysis variance (ANOVA) statistical tool were used to test the hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. A. BelloThe study examined the relationship between non-monetary incentives and employees' performance in selected pharmaceutical companies in Ogun state. The study employed survey research design which was facilitated by the use of a structured questionnaires. The study population was 360 employees from 6 selected pharmaceutical manufacturing companies in Ota, Ogun state, which was selected using stratified sampling techniques. 350 copies of questionnaire was successfully retrieved and analyzed, while 10 could not be retrieved. Person product Moment correlation was used to test al research hypothesis, using the statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS). Data was gathered using descriptive statistics (bar chart) and inferential statistics (tables and percentage) was utilized for the study. The findings revealed that only three dimensions of non-monetary incentives namely: employee recognition (B=0.255, p= 0.00) had significant and positive effects on employee performance while positive work environment (B=-.186, p=0.00) had a significant but negative effects on employee performance.Item Metadata only Effect of Management by Objective (MOB) on Employee Productivity in Selected Manufacturing Companies in Ado-Odo Ota Local Government Ogun State.(Bells University of Technology, 2023-05-07) OLASEINDE, Olabimitan Frederick; Dr. Nkiruka E. IfekwemThis study examined effect of management by objective on employee productivity in selected manufacturing companies in Ado-Odo local government Ogun state. It evaluates the impact of superior-subordinate participation, quantifiable goals monitoring performance, feedback and reward achievement on employee productivity. Data were collected from primary source wing questionnaire, administered to staff of the selected manufacturing company in Ogun state. 100 employees were randomly selected from each company which are Distiller limited. Rockitt Benkeser and Dufil Nigeria. Five hypotheses postulated were tested using Regression analysis. The findings, hypothesis one, superior subordinate participation had significant on employee productivity the r-square is 0.604, 0.587. 0.625 and 0.600 and p<0.05. For hypothesis two, quantifiable goal had significant on employee productivity the r-square is 0.641, 0.563, 0.601 and 0.635 and p<0.05. For hypothesis three, performance monitoring had significant on employee productivity the r-square is 0.699, 0.638, 0.778 and 0.775 and p<0.05. For hypothesis four, effective feedback had significant on employee productivity the square is 0.610, 0.613, 0.627 and 0.836 and p<0.05. Lastly hypothesis five, reward achievement and employee productivity the r-square is 0.832, 0.799, 0.882 and 0.869 and p<0.05. From the findings of the study, the study recommended that firms should not relent in their drive towards, exploring decisions so as to enhance productivity. Organizations should improve employee engagement, employee effectiveness, employee efficiency and employee commitment also firms should constantly reward employee for outstanding result will also encourage other to do better.Item Metadata only Strategic Management and Competitive Advantage in Hospitality Industries in Ogun State.(Bells University of Technology, 2023-05-10) SOKEYE, Abayomi Olalekan; Dr. Okafor Linus IzediunoThe study ascertained the relationship between strategy formulation and competitive advantage: it investigated the relationship between strategy implementation and competitive advantage: it determined the relationship between strategy evaluation and competitive advantage and also examined the joint impact of strategy formulation, strange implementation and strategy evaluation on competitive advantage all with a view of accessing the relationship between strategic management and competitive advantage in the hospitality industries in Ogun state. The research adopted descriptive research design which is alto called survey research design. The instrument of the research design is questionnaire. Two hundred and thirty-eight (238) copies of the questionnaire were administered so hospitality industries in Ogun stare. but one hundred and sixty-one (161) were correctly attended to. ln analysing the questionnaire data analytical procedure of tables and percentage were used in classification of data. While the hypotheses of the study were tested using the Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis in order to determine whether to accept or reject the null hypotheses (Ho). The results of the Pearson correlation coefficient rejected the null hypotheses (Null hypothesis 1, 2 and 3) and accepted the alternative hypotheses 1, 2 and 3. For hypothesis one, the coefficient of the Pearson Correlation was 0.878 and p<0.01 hence, the study accepted the alternative hypothesis that there is a significant relationship between strategy formulation and competitive advantage. Similarity. for hypothesis two, the coefficient of the Pearson Correlation was 0.907 and p<0.0l hence, the study accepted the alternative hypothesis that there is a significant relationship between strategy implementation and competitive advantage. Likewise, for hypothesis three. the coefficient of the Pearson Correlation was 0.85 and pe0.0l hence. the study accepted the alternative hypothesis that there is a significant relationship between strategic evaluation and competitive advantage. The final hypothesis was tested using multiple regression analysis. The result showed that strategic formulation, strategic implementation, and strategic evaluation with coefficients of 0.539, 8.843 and 0.497 all had a positive and significant impact on competitive advantage.
