Abstract
This study examined the impact of gender discrimination on performance of female employees in selected private universities in Ado/Odo Ota local government area of Ogun state. Specifically, the study examined the influence of discrimination in managerial roles on the performance (task performance) of female employees in selected private Universities. To achieve the stated research objectives, a quantitative survey research design was adopted as a research objective, a quantitative survey research design was adopted as a research design, and a 25-item structured questionnaire was used as the research instrument for data collcetion. The target population comprised of 404 female employees of selected private universities in Ado/Odo Ota local government area. The sample size of 200 females was determined using taro Yamane formula. The collected data were analyzed with descriptive statistics (Mean and Grand mean) and inferential statistics (Simple Linear Regression).
