A. BelloThis study investigated the impact of conflict management strategies on Employee morale in beverage companies at Agbara industrial estate, Ogun state, Nigeria. Four beverage companies were selected, and a descriptive survey research design was used to establish the association between conflict management strategies and employee morale. Population for the study comprises of Managers, senior staff, junior staff of the four selected beverages companies in Agbara Industrial estate, Ogun state Nigeria. A sample size of 350 respondents was selected through Taro Yamane for calculating sample size. Primary data were used for the purpose of collecting information for this research work and the instrument that was used as questionnaire. The study found that conflict Management strategies had a significant impact on employee morale in the beverage companies.Item Metadata only Continuous Learning and Employees Peformance in Bells University of Technology, Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria(Bells University of Technology, 2024-08-06) OLUSUPO, Margaret OdunayoThis study investigates the impact of employee engagement on organizational performance among selected commercial banks in Ota, Ogun State. The objectives of the study were to determine how training and development, work-life balance and employee retention impact organizational performance. Data for the study was sourced primarily with the aid of a structured questionnaire. The study made use of the entire population for the sample study as the population was less than 100 (population < 100). To test the hypotheses, the data was analyzed using descriptive statistics such as percentage, mean, and standard deviation, as well as inferential statistics such as multiple regression analysis. The findings revealed that all variables understudy (raining and development, work-life balance and employee retention) all had a moderately significant impact on organizational performance, showing a predictive value of .95%. The research findings emphasize the multifaceted nature of organizational performance and the necessity for organizations to adopt a holistic approach to talent management; While training and development, work-life balance, and employee retention each play a role in shaping organizational outcomes, their combined influence yields the most significant impact. Thus, organizations must strive to create a conducive work environment that fosters employee growth, well-being, and retention to drive sustained organizational success in the long term. Furthermore, the study recommends that organizations should prioritize the development and implementation of strategies to enhance employee engagement, such as fostering a supportive work environment, providing opportunities for growth and development and promoting a healthy work-life balance.Item Metadata only Effect of Risk Audit As A Project Risk Management Technique On Quality Performance of Building Construction Project In Nigeria(Bells University of Technology, 2024-02-12) ASADE, Lukman Adekunle; Dr. A.O. AdeoduThe study the application and implementation of project management practices in achieving and enhancing product quality with the investigating of Nestle Nigeria Plc, based on the specific objectives of identity product defect inherent, quality. defects on production quality and quality assurance tools impact on product quality. Survey research design involving qualitative and quantitative data collected through stratified and simple random sampling techniques was used 287 and 332 questionnaires from internal stakeholders and customers were used, coupled with 37 and 18 from suppliers/vendors and regulatory authorities.The differences in project management techniques was determined by Chi-Squares, logistics regression analysis was used to analyse the possible effect of project management practices on size and complexity of products and multiple regressions was used to establish the effect of project management practices on product quality.Item Metadata only Employee Engagement and Retention in Selected Food and Beverage Industries in Ado-Odo local Government Area, Ogun State(Bells University of technology, Ota, 2020-09-10) IHUNYERE, Uchenna Promise; Dr. Bello B. A.The study examined employee engagement and retention in selected food and beverage industries in Ado-Odo Ota LGA, Ogun state. The specific objectives are to; determine the effect of loyalty on employee retention in the food and beverage industry in Ado-Odo Ota, determine the influence of commitment on employe retention in the food and beverage industry in Ado-Odo Ota and to ascertain the influence of trust on employee retention in the food and beverage industry in Ado-Odo Ota. This study adopted a survey research design; data were collected through the use of questionnaire. The total population of the study was 1355 comprising of the staff of De-United foods industries Limited. the members of staff were randomly selected from the production, Marketing/sales, accounting/finance and Administration departments. The sample size of 309 was determined using the Tari Yamane's formula and further stratified using Boyle's formula. The findings indicate that the coefficient of the ordinal regression on loyalty was (1.4443) and the p value was .000. This means that loyalty is positively signed and statistically significant at 55 level of significance. A. OnifadeThis study examined the effect of employee's participation on employee performance in Nigeria, the study adopted. Survey design was employed in the study through the administration of questionnaire, four hundred and fifty questionnaires were administered to the staff of the selected companies which while four hundred and twenty-three questionnaire was fully completed and returned, frequency table and percentages was employed in analyzing the respondent's response while regression statistical analysis was employed in testing the research hypothesis. Result of the findings, revealed that there is significant influence consultative participation on employee performance, there is significant impact of collective bargaining on employee performance and three significant relationship effect of joint decision making employee performance based on the findings the study recommend among others that management should strive to become a role models to their subordinates; inspire them by providing meaning and challenge to work; stimulate their efforts to become innovative and creative and pay attention to each individual needs for achievement and growth.Item Metadata only Gender Discrimination and Performance of Female Employees in Selected Private Universities in Ado/Odo Ota Local Government area, Ogun state, Nigeria(Bells University of Technology, 2024-08-06) ONWUEGBUNA, Godness Nneoma; Dr onifade, T.A.This study examined the impact of gender discrimination on performance of female employees in selected private universities in Ado/Odo Ota local government area of Ogun state. Specifically, the study examined the influence of discrimination in managerial roles on the performance (task performance) of female employees in selected private Universities. To achieve the stated research objectives, a quantitative survey research design was adopted as a research objective, a quantitative survey research design was adopted as a research design, and a 25-item structured questionnaire was used as the research instrument for data collcetion. The target population comprised of 404 female employees of selected private universities in Ado/Odo Ota local government area. The sample size of 200 females was determined using taro Yamane formula. R. Adekunle.The study examined the impact of supply chain risk management on organizational performance: a study of selected companies in Ota, Ogun state. The objectives of the study were to ascertain the influence of demand forecasting on organizational performance; determine how inventory management influence organizational performance and ascertain how risk management affect organizational performance. The population of the study was made up of pharmaceutical companies Ota, Ogun state. The study made use of survey research design, which made it easier to employ a structured research instrument. 248 copies of the research questionnaire were retrieved and found careful of the study. Findings revealed that supply chain risk management had an impact on organizational performance. A.The study broadly examined the relationship between job stress and employee performance in Wema bank plc, Ogun state, Nigeria. The study examined four objectives which are effect of time pressure on employee productivity, effect of workload on employee innovation, relationship between role ambiguity and employee job quality and relationship between role conflict and employee time management. Descriptive research design was adopted for the study while the study area covers nine branches of Wema bank in Ogun state, Nigeria. The study made use of primary data which was collected through instruments of questionnaire. The population of the study consists of all staff members in Wema bank branches in Ogun state. Random sampling techniques was employed for the purpose of this study. The sample size for the study was 154 employees from nine branches of Wema bank in Ogun state. The study employed both descriptive and inferential statistics to analyze the data collected. A.This study investigated the knowledge management on organizational performance in selected money deposit banks in the three senatorial districts in Lagos, Nigeria. The selected money deposit banks included Access bank, Diamond bank, Guaranty Trust bank and Zenith bank. The specific objectives of the study were to examine the extent to which knowledge creation, knowledge sharing, knowledge application and knowledge protection influenced organizational performance in the selected money deposit bank in Lagos state, Nigeria. Also, the research question and hypotheses were raised to guide the study. Organizational performance was investigated in the area of custom er satisfaction, market share expansion and new product development. The study made use of primary and secondary source of data. A well- structured research questionnaire was used as an instrument to gather information from the respondents as well as the various banks annual report for a period of three years (2017-2019) which were analyzed to determine the extent of the various banks, market share expansion, Purposive and simple random sampling techniques were used to collect information from 263 respondents comprising 113 bank staff and 150 customers of the banks. Both descriptive and inferential statistical designs were applied. Regression analysis and analysis variance (ANOVA) statistical tool were used to test the hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. The research work identified the challenges in installing knowledge management system in management development institute (MDIs); it assessed the effects of knowledge management on employee efficiency and also investigated the relationship between knowledge management and organizational effectiveness; all with a view to assessing the impact of knowledge management on organizational performance in ASCON. Survey research designs also known as descriptive statistics was adopted. Primary data was used for the research. Fifty (50) questionnaires were administered to ASCON staff. A. BelloThe study examined the relationship between non-monetary incentives and employees' performance in selected pharmaceutical companies in Ogun state. The study employed survey research design which was facilitated by the use of a structured questionnaires. The study population was 360 employees from 6 selected pharmaceutical manufacturing companies in Ota, Ogun state, which was selected using stratified sampling techniques. 350 copies of questionnaire was successfully retrieved and analyzed, while 10 could not be retrieved. Person product Moment correlation was used to test al research hypothesis, using the statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS). Data was gathered using descriptive statistics (bar chart) and inferential statistics (tables and percentage) was utilized for the study. The findings revealed that only three dimensions of non-monetary incentives namely: employee recognition (B=0.255, p= 0.00) had significant and positive effects on employee performance while positive work environment (B=-.186, p=0.00) had a significant but negative effects on employee performance.
