This approach help provide individuals with answers surrounding satisfaction, hence serves as key design clement that are flexible and adaptive. Since the research focusing on promoting conviviality through architecture, few existing housing estate in Lagos Island were reviewed as case studies. This was undertaken to identify both built and natural forms that users of a built environment easily associate with as regards function and identity. An important point to note is that, housing community should be beyond housing the rich, but rather to provide options and opportunities for people to improve their living condition and be satisfied. The research thus offers options aiming to understand how people's self-representation of social inclusions can be translated in design capable of accepting and adapting to change base on purpose.
