Non-Monetary Incentives Employees' Performance in Selected Pharmeceutical Companies in Ogun State.

The study examined the relationship between non-monetary incentives and employees' performance in selected pharmaceutical companies in Ogun state. The study employed survey research design which was facilitated by the use of a structured questionnaires. The study population was 360 employees from 6 selected pharmaceutical manufacturing companies in Ota, Ogun state, which was selected using stratified sampling techniques. 350 copies of questionnaire was successfully retrieved and analyzed, while 10 could not be retrieved. Person product Moment correlation was used to test al research hypothesis, using the statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS). Data was gathered using descriptive statistics (bar chart) and inferential statistics (tables and percentage) was utilized for the study. The findings revealed that only three dimensions of non-monetary incentives namely: employee recognition (B=0.255, p= 0.00) had significant and positive effects on employee performance while positive work environment (B=-.186, p=0.00) had a significant but negative effects on employee performance.
