dc.description.abstractThe Bells University of Technology outdoor sports Centre serves the university staff and student population, together with the surrounding community. It was originally designed to serve the bells primary and secondary school and as such its facilities and standard and not adequate for the university, hence the need for a study to ascertain the deficiencies and provide a solution. The study was carried out using primary data sources, secondary data sources and graphic and photographic data sources. The sites visited an analyses as appropriate, case studies were also carried out via visits to similar institutions with outdoor sports centres. Users of outdoor sports centres were also interviewed. It was concluded that a redesign of bells university outdoor sports Centre is necessary to harness to revenue-generating potential of the sports Centre, help its athletes achieve their maximum potential and significantly boost the interest and reputation of the institution.
