dc.description.abstractThis study examined the effect of employee's participation on employee performance in Nigeria, the study adopted. Survey design was employed in the study through the administration of questionnaire, four hundred and fifty questionnaires were administered to the staff of the selected companies which while four hundred and twenty-three questionnaire was fully completed and returned, frequency table and percentages was employed in analyzing the respondent's response while regression statistical analysis was employed in testing the research hypothesis. Result of the findings, revealed that there is significant influence consultative participation on employee performance, there is significant impact of collective bargaining on employee performance and three significant relationship effect of joint decision making employee performance based on the findings the study recommend among others that management should strive to become a role models to their subordinates; inspire them by providing meaning and challenge to work; stimulate their efforts to become innovative and creative and pay attention to each individual needs for achievement and growth.
