dc.description.abstractThis research study focuses on evaluating the accessibility in the design of the selected office buildings, with a specific emphasis on public buildings in Lagos, Nigeria. The objectives of the evaluation are threefold. Firstly, the study aims to examine the principle of accessibility in public buildings, exploring the theoretical and conceptual foundations that underpin inclusive design practices. Secondly, it seeks to evaluate the provision of accessibility in the selected public buildings, assessing the extent to which there adhere to established accessibility guidelines, regulations, and standards, Finally the study aims to identify the advantages of accessibility in public buildings, highlighting the positive impact that inclusive design can have on individuals, organization and the wider community.
