    National Museum Of Modern Arts, Abeokuta, Ogun State: Spatial Analysis of Selected National Museums In South West Nigeria

    Museum showcase a diverse collection of artifacts and networks offering visitors a captivating journey through various cultures and periods. Spatial analysis is the study of the physical layout and design of a space and how it impacts the behaviour and experiences of people within that space. This research delved into the crucial role of thoughtful spatial design in shaping engaging and informative museum experiences. This study was divided into four key parts which are to identify the spatial layout in selected museums in South-west Nigeria; to examine the user experiences of the spaces in selected museums; to evaluate the spatial relationship of the functional spaces in selected museums and to propose a National Museum of Modern Arts in South-west for the State government, employing the best spatial approach in functional spaces.This study utilized both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.The qualitative approach was obtained through case studies using direct observations and the respondents perception was carried out by survey using a questionnaire tool. Through a comprehensive examination of museums spaces, this study investigated the factors that contribute to visitor engagement.
