    Skill or Trade learning has been from the beginning of time, as learning is a never ending process but the ability to make a skill profitable is dynamic . In an ever growing society.It becomes harder to find jobs or opportunities for an individual to make a living.The creation of Skill Acquisition Centres, is an opportunity for youths to learn, develop themselves and in turn make means for survival and develop the economy.The significant role of Skill Acquisition and vocational education in Nigeria society was evaluated in this thesis, identifying how vital it is in this century.It considers the roles it plays in the socio-economic development of every society and how design can encourage or improve the importance of Skill Acquisition. Various data were deduced from secondary sources such as, journals, textbooks, newspapers, magazines, websites and periodicals. This project concluded that the journey for improved skill acquisition and youth empowerment could be accomplished if skill acquistion and vocational education is passionately supported by investing funds into skill acquisitions and vocational education so as to solve the problem of economic instability and unemployment afflicting the country.
