    Post Disaster Housing Estate For IDPS, Maiduguri Borno State: Architecture As A Tool For The Well-Being Of Disaster Victims

    The Increase in instances of forced displacement due to insurgency is the new trend in local government are of Borno state which have exposure and more severe impacts making the affected victims leave behind their homes and farms. Discussions stressed immediate needs over longer-term post-disaster housing recovery (PDHR) to act as a a relief for them by using architecture to enhance their well being and at the same speed up the recovery of IDPs by studying their culture and the architecture features of their previous housing and infusing it into the design.This study was carried out using qualitative research methods looking at existing pieces of literature. Also, research has been carried out and schemes have been put in place regarding the victims' recovery.
