    Impact of Recreational Activities On Youth Development In Ogun State.

    Recreation is an activity that people voluntary pursue for personal enjoyment or satisfaction usually during their free time. It provides pleasure for millions of people amd contributes to individual mental and physical health. This study examined the impacts of recreational activities on youth development in Ogun State, Nigeria. Both primary and secondary data collected were collected.Primary data collection method included case study, observation and participatory interior secondary data collected are population of youth in Ogun State available parks and garden in Ogun State. The study revealed that participation in recreational activities could be linked to lower level of sedentary increase relationship with peer and friends improve the likehood of performing better in school and decreased participation in negative behaviours among youths
