    Job Stress and Employee Performance in Nigerian Deposit Money Bank; A Study of Wema Bank plc, Ogun State.

    The study broadly examined the relationship between job stress and employee performance in Wema bank plc, Ogun state, Nigeria. The study examined four objectives which are effect of time pressure on employee productivity, effect of workload on employee innovation, relationship between role ambiguity and employee job quality and relationship between role conflict and employee time management. Descriptive research design was adopted for the study while the study area covers nine branches of Wema bank in Ogun state, Nigeria. The study made use of primary data which was collected through instruments of questionnaire. The population of the study consists of all staff members in Wema bank branches in Ogun state. Random sampling techniques was employed for the purpose of this study. The sample size for the study was 154 employees from nine branches of Wema bank in Ogun state. The study employed both descriptive and inferential statistics to analyze the data collected. Frequency table was used to analyze the demographic distribution of the respondents while simple regression and correlation analysis were employed to test the postulated hypothesis.
