This population ageing can be seen as a success story for public health policies and for socio- economic development but it also challenges society to adapt. This research paper has identified the architectural needs of the people that will facilitate their individual well-being in terms of access, heath, space, security, dignity and social interaction and also ensuring that a safe and reliable system is put in place in order to secures a bright future for the increasing population of the aged in the country. This was done by site visitation to the elderly to obtain information from key stake holder and user of existing facilities. This involved selected case studies of old people's home, facilities which are rather similar in character to the proposed old people's home. Also, secondary data collection was carried out and this involved the review of the existing but relevant literature like the following: Book in the library, journals, magazines, Newspaper articles, online web information, past research works, published and unpublished works among others.
